The smallest and cutest of the local prickly pears and perfect for urban landscapes where full sized prickly pear might be unwieldy. Gorgeous bi-color blooms in the late springtime. Great for a potted native arrangement or small cactus garden.

Cylindropuntia leptocaulis
Low-care cactus with edible fruits and flowers. Host plant for staghorn cholla moth and iridescent cactus beetle. Pairs well with xeric shrubs.
